A major aspect of SJMS is the design and prototyping of simple mechanical innovations to radically improve the lives of the impoverished peoples of nations struggling with widespread hunger, disease, homelessness, and general lack of life essentials. We focus especially on innovations relating to water retrieval and purification, heating, lighting, cooking, and sheltering.

As America’s consumption of energy and other natural resources continually explodes to truly disastrous proportions, green technology becomes ever more important. Here are some of our products aimed at fighting this trend of wastefulness.
